Those are a few things we've been doing this year, we're always looking for new ways to share Jesus with our city! How will we reach out globally while physically in Nuremberg?While we were in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were longing to connect with people in the countries we would usually be able to visit for outreach. But we will be reaching out in many ways right in Nuremberg! You might be connecting with universtity students in the city or joining an Azeri youth group, sharing coffee and conversation with people in our neighborhood, or reaching out to the homeless community in Nuremberg. What will we do for outreach in Nuremberg?There won't be the long international outreach typical to a usual traditional DTS. Do I get a DTS certificate from the University of the Nations?Because we have condensed the DTS into an 11-week intensive participants will not receive DTS credits from the University of the Nations.For those wanting to fully complete DTS to work full-time with Youth with a Mission Nuremberg the remaining elements will be completed through a second DTS Intensive and a summer outreach.
What about international outreach?As soon as international travel is possible, we will be going again on outreach! Our hope and plan right now is to have 2-3 trips available in summer 2021. We’ve already had several rounds of groups, and we’re really seeing God move through these conversations and new relationships! This is just one way you’ll be able to connect and build relationships with people globally during the DTS Intensive. It’s a way for us to connect with individuals from all over the world through workshops and language practice groups.
